Note regarding special events!  Alcoholics Anonymous is FREE.  It does not cost ANYTHING to attend A.A.  If you have a desire to stop drinking, you have met the one and only requirement for A.A. membership.  Click HERE for link to the 12 Traditions

A.A. members and/or groups may occasionally throw a party, host a dance, have a BBQ, sell raffle tickets, charge a membership fee to an Alano Club, etc. These are loosely referred to as "A.A. events," but in the strictest sense of the word, they are not. When you see raffle tickets sold, admission fees and membership charges listed on this page or on the calendar above, be sure to keep the following in mind:

"There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety."  Emphasis added
